I Am Learning To create a wearable piece of art

Wearable Art Showcase 

For the past 2 terms, Room 10 and 11 have been learning about Space. We have been exploring the different planets and the galaxy. We decided for our wearable art piece that we would make galaxy skirts and capes with the planets on it. 

We learnt many different art techniques such as water colouring, flicking of paint, dabbing of paint and blending colours together. It was a long process but are all very proud of the final product!

100 Day Party!

We celebrated being at school for 100 Days!! My favourite part of our 100 day party was icing the cupcakes and eating them.

We Are Learning To find specific information in the story

Reflection 
We are learning to find information in the story. We found it easy to understand why cockatoos are not friendly because we know birds are not friendly. We found it tricky to know what the word preens means.

• 1 short sentence 
• 1 different topic word on the last sentence

I am learning to write a cinquain poem. It is easy to think of topic words about Daffodils. It was tricky to write what they do - Onyx 

I Am Learning About 2D and 3D shapes.

Room 10 and 11 have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes. We made our shape with toothpicks and marshmallows, yum! After we made out shape we got to eat it.
